• Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) presented information for Community Meeting on November 20, 2008 to Community Outreach Group.
• Following the presentation, COG members were asked to provide feedback on presentation quality, length and suitability for community to update on project conditions.
• Issues that COG raised include:
o Project schedule
o Use of new road or sections of new road will not be allowed until complete
o Access Management Plan
 Limitations on access and cross overs
 Public availability/comment on Access Management Plan
 Limitations on development
 Process to provide access for divided properties
o Heard rumor that ALDOT was going to abandon project and turn Glenwood into Snow Road with no connection to AL 158
o Intersections
 Jug-handle intersection at Wilmer Georgetown
 Reconsider Glenwood Intersection-growth of area
 Old 98/New 98 intersection
• Safety
o Has barricade at Glenwood Farms subdivision limited unauthorized access/use of the project by residents that live in that subdivision?
o Private well issues
o Provide paper and pencil to meeting attendees to note questions during presentation
